Hospice Patient Care Volunteer Training

A Special Way of Caring

Volunteering in our hospice program is one of the most rewarding experiences you will ever have. You do not need special skills to make a tremendous difference in the lives of patients and families. We provide the training and ongoing support.

We are accepting registration now for our 30-hour course on "Confident Caring of the Terminally Ill and Their Families." Training includes: How to Accompany the Dying, Personal Experience of Loss, Rituals of Closure, Spirituality, Grieving and Bereavement, Comfort Care/Pain Management, Communication Skills/Listening Skills, and more.

Call Volunteer Coordinator DiAnn T. O'Hara at (707) 535-5790 for more information.
